Thanksgiving YAY

Well Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE Holiday. I love cooking and there is plenty of that, there is always some kind of NFL game on (By the way it's Packers -vs- Lions, Raiders -vs- Cowboys, and Giants -vs- Broncos ~ PLZ Raiders win pretty plz!!) and your surrounded by people you care about, also because some of my favorite childhood memories involved Thanksgiving. I will be helping my Mom cook this year and eat at her place. My Longest and Bestest Friend Halls and her son will be coming over and enjoying the day with us as well : ) So on that note hope everyone stays safe and be careful!!

On another note I get to check off one of my goals I will be photographing a friends wedding on December 27th!! I am so excited it's not going to be a really big wedding but it still counts and it's for a good friend of mine so I am still super excited about it!! Well I better get going....

World of Warcraft.....

Well I am helping plan and create my Little brother's birthday and he has decided he wants the theme to be World of Warcraft (Horde) this year. So far I have gotten some great ideas from other sites and all but then I want to make this totally awesome!! (I play WOW so this is a little exciting to me he he) I purchased these pirate chest things from Oriental Trading Company and plan to spray paint them brown and then hand paint the rest of the detail to them. The chest will be like the goodie bags (I hope I wont need more then 12 that's all I ordered for now) I purchased these carrot looking candy holders, light-up goldfish and these jumping frog things. I guess the rest will be filled with some gold coins and candy.I purchased a inflatable chest cooler to hold brinks in as well. I also thought I would buy some cheap cheese cloth and dye/paint them red and black for the horde theme, I also found the horde symbol online and printed out two different sizes so I can make those dangle looking things and wall banners for the walls. As soon as I make those I will for sure post pictures of it on here ^ ^ but yeah any other ideas would be great. He said he wants Apple Pie instead of cake so I wont have to make that rofl. But anything would be great because if one thing doesn't work out I'd like a back up plan ^ ^ well later

The items pictured above I got at orientaltrading.com

Progress

Well I am writing this with a tiny bit of time to spare. Some shows I watch (Only on Thursdays) come on in about 40 mins but that's more then enough time to get my excitement out : ) One I been working out alot lately and eating better as well. I am starting to slim down especially on my sides and in my legs. My Baby budge is starting to skrink as well (The left overs of my kids ><) and I am so excited. My goal is to get to the weight I was when i got married (After the oldest was born right before I got pregnant with the second one, yes I got pregnant in less then a month after I got married....lol) which is about 118 normal for my height : ) I am slowly losing the weight now I figured it took a little longer b/c I am toning muscles in the process of my working out ^ ^ But yeah there is the goal weight and I hope to get there before summer of next year. That's the plan. I just feel so unattractive and I whined about it and finally just got up and decided no one can get that for me but me so here I am doing it and I feel awesome! I am getting a little more energy and probably would have more if I tried to get to bed sooner. But I am already a slimmer me and I have a few more weeks to shred some more before Hubby is home : ) so much excitement for sure.

Well that is all. Maybe when I am a smaller me I will be comfortable posting before and after photos but I have to get to the after part first. Wish me luck : )

Well I was going through my oldest Son's dresser and setting aside the clothes that are clearly too small for him to wear now (Gosh I swear every time I blink my eyes both my boys get bigger) and put them in my room. Well once I got finished reorganizing his dresser and put it all back in order, My oldest son just tosses his clothes where ever in his dresser and believes this is acceptable...rofl, I went back to my room.
See in my room I keep this huge tub full of clothes my oldest out grows and save it for the younger one. They are four years apart and I started doing this when my youngest was only a few months old. Any way's so I decided to see what all was in there that could fit my younger one and to my amazement there were 4 pairs of pants that will fit him now and tons more that are a size or two bigger for a little ways down the road. So I am super happy about this. So I went ahead and took those out to be washed and set the others I brought to store in their place. I still might need to go shopping to get my older son more pants b/c I am pretty sure about a handful of the ones left will be small on him but I figured to have him try them on regardless just in case. So yeah besides that and cleaning this has been my day so far. Later I get to go get my son from school and then work on homework til time to get my little brother.

School Started today

Well my oldest son started his first day of school today. His teacher has a difficult name to remember and say. I hope he will do ok. It's raining and nasty outside so I guess his P.E. will take place inside no clue what they will do but his favorite teacher is the P.E. teacher so I guess that will make his first day a little better. My youngest son keeps telling me he wants to go to school but I tell him next year he will be going to the same one as his brother. Of course being his personality he doesn't want to wait til next year. We did have to go get his shots today and he cried when they did it but as soon as the shots were done he stopped crying wiped his tears away and clung to me for dear life. I can't say that I blame him I am not a fan of shots either nor anyone in their right mind...rofl Anyways
Sorry I been slacking in writing I play the Computer game World of warcraft and been playing on my Pally to get her up to 80. So far I am at level 73. My Warlock on the other hand is level 80 and is getting some gear here and there as of right now her gear score is 1811. I still have a while away before she is totally going to kick some butt : ) But the Pally I am working on as a back up healer for our guild raids.
Our Guild Website is:
That's in case any of you wow heads come across this and decide to come check us out 8 )
Well got to go and call the apartment office. They need to fix something

The Time Traveler's Wife - Prologue

I started to read a few pages of The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffeneggger and the Prologue caught me off guard and made me ponder something that after thinking about it made total since to me!!

From the Prologue said by Clare:

"everything seems simple until you think about it. Why is love intensified by absence?"

And it is, in some ways. Like I love My husband way more this time around then I did last time and I guess just over time in General has resulted in me loving my Husband even more. I am totally grateful for such a wonderful man wanting to be my partner in life for the rest of our lives!! It's sorta funny because some of the things he still does bothered me when we were teenagers dating back when I was 14 and he was 17...lol Like his protectiveness for example or how he liked touching me always even if just holding my hand. These things don't bother me now and I have no problems comforting him by giving him any answers he asks of me sometimes (When I go out places with friends and he stays home, he sorta is still a bit jealous : ). He is very loyal to me too as I am to him and this is really refreshing considering I've seen and heard of some many marriages end since he has been in the Military. I'd give up so many things now just to keep him in my life. My kids too!! They are the biggest piece of my life now and I love all three of them with every part of me!!

~Anyway's~

My wrist is hurting even more and now the pain has rised to be in the center of my palm now!! So I need to get off of here and all. I should go see my Doctor but he is the same one that said it's nothing and if it hurts just take Motrin...blah I guess if it gets to much worse I'll have to go in!

Girl with a Muff

Well Mom and I were going through some old patterns we got while at the Thirft Store (Same time when I got the Daisy items) and we came across this one and when we read the title for it we busted out laughing...rofl I wanted to share the pattern with you.

~Also~

A muff is a fashion accessory for outdoors usually made of a cylinder of fur or fabric with both ends open for keeping the hands warm. Just thought I'd let you know what it really means : D

My Lil' Thrift Store Find ^ ^

I purchased all three of these items at a Thrift Store yesterday while I was out with my Mom. Yes I sometimes shop there and I was there looking for Shorts for my oldest son who keeps growing out of all his cloths and I just can't afford to keep buying them brand new and besides there is nothing wrong with buying stuff from thrift stores any way's!! But yeah I bought these items and fell in love with the little theme I seemed to have started and decided this will be my new Living room theme now!! Hubby and I were still working on what type of theme we wanted to do and this was just PERFECT!! I bought all the items above for a total of $5.75 not bad huh : )!! So needless so say now I am on a hunt for matching items I've found some stuff on Amazon.com that I liked alot and added to my lil wish list he he but I am sure over time I will buy the items one here and there. But yeah I am pretty excited to finally have a theme to work on plus I added the photo's I took in my Mom's Garden and added them to kodakgallery.com and have ordered the heart shaped one I took as a 8 x 10 and then the other two Daisy photo's I took as 5 x 7's and will place them in frames as well. I also came across this cute little setup from a magazine and decided I am going to steal the idea but change it up a bit. Someone took a wooden trellis and added little charms and decorations to it and placed it on a wall of there house. Well I thought it would be cute to try the same thing but add different sized Photo frames, but I am still thinking that one over. Well I better get going I have a book I am reading and I am really getting into it!! Talk to you all later...

The Peacock

PEACOCK
The Peacock is a sacred bird in many cultures. Special companion to the goddesses Hera and Juno, and to the Indian god Murugan, the peacock is usually thought of as a symbol of vanity, but these birds, which are a species of pheasant, are also honored in India as one of the few creatures which can hunt and kill the deadly Cobra. The Kurdish Jezidi considered the peacock to be a messenger of God.
The peacock in mythology is often identified with - or even considered identical to - the Phoenix. The Phoenix and the Peacock both symbolize resurrection and life after death. The Egyptians thought of the Phoenix as an emblem of Ra, the Sun God. St. Augustine believed that the peacock's flesh, like that of a saint, would not decay, and early Christians believed that a peacock's blood would repel evil spirits.
The information and Photo I collected for this came from:
There is a long story as to why I people now associate me with Peacocks so that's why I added this here : P Maybe if I get enough people to ask me about it I'll write my little story here for all to see...rofl

Milk thistle

I was yet again having another conversation with my mom but this time over Milk thistle and what it looked like. I thought it was just like a brown colored stem or something but the thing is it has a beautiful flower on it and it's green....rofl so I learned yet another type of plant...lol Check it out here at Wikipedia.org

Sorry just when I have these kinds of conversations I find them either A: really funny B: really interesting or C: The "There is no way that is real" option. But I do enjoy the conversations with her and they make me think about things I wouldn't have if it was someone else or I was home alone or with the boys.

On another note Our watermelons are growing. They look great and hopefully soon there will be some melons to eat!! I am excited he he. We are still going to try and do the pumpkin seeds too I think but it has to be really soon. Well got to go later all.....

Kids

Well last night my kids were jumping around like monkeys as usual, but this time Anakin fell and busted his lip on the side of the futon. So there was blood everywhere of course and his top teeth had gone into his bottom lip. I felt so bad for him because his bottom lip had turned a different shade of color and swelled up. I have never in my life seen a lip that big before. So I gave him Motrin and of course put some ice on the lip to get the swelling down. Needless to say the moment the Motrin kicked in and his lip almost to normal (Besides the cut and bruise on it now) he was jumping around again like a monkey and needless to say could careless about the lesson he should of learned from this. On another Note Anakin does have a good arm and I hope to play catch with him after his birthday (I bought him a ball and glove, had to be the fisher price brand because they don't make anything his size yet) and then as soon as Daddy gets back he can take over. Kevin has said something about playing baseball but he always runs from the ball. I told him maybe we can see about finding an art camp or something because he is an amazing little artist!! Here soon when I have time I want to start getting a bunch of different sized picture frames and what not and Have him start creating art for our home!! I'll have to make sure Anakin is staying the night at his grandma's (Hubby Mom) or something or when Hubby is home and do the art work at there other grandma's (My Mom) either way I am excited about doing that for him. I want wooden frames though of all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors for it. Later on when Anakin is bigger he can create some too. I saw this one article where someone did that and what they did was Took the frames and took all the stuff out except the frame then hung the frame to the wall with a string or ribbon and then when the child bring new artwork home placed it behind a frame. I know I plan to do this when we have a bigger place or house around the entrance way of our home for EVERYONE to see : D

Wow well that's all for now. I'll write more another time my wrists are hurting. Later all.

Breakfast for Lunch : D

Well I am cooking the boys some Bacon, eggs and biscuits because that is what they asked me to make them for lunch...lol figure where is the harm in that :D So right now I am cooking the back in between sentences and getting popped by it in the process (Ouch)

~anyway's~

I took the boys to see the movie G-force in 3D yesterday and we loved it!! I even paid for the little kids pack things they serve there (Yes I paid the over priced prices blah) and the movie was great and the boys loved it!! Half way through Anakin hated the glasses and took them off the rest of the movie but he was still laughing and making comments like everyone else : ) This was the first 3D movie for all three of us and I really enjoyed it!! We saw a preview for another Disney movie coming soon in 3D that we all agreed we wanted to see and they did a remake of the Scrooge we want to see in 3D this winter (With hubby of course) I wished the weather would make up it's mind rather it will rain or not b/c the boys want to go to the beach again. Maybe if it seems ok tomorrow I'll take them to our apartments pool or something. Crap i am burning the bacon got to go..

My wrists hurt and feel weird

Taking a break from cleaning my home for the moment. Made lunch for the boys and me. I also ordered some more books (Used of course from amazon.com, I love that web site :D ) So now I am looking at all my wonderful books and and the kids books and come to the realization I need bigger and better book shelves. So when I can afford it I guess I will be going out and buying myself one or two (If I can afford it) I rather have real wood so I know they wont get tore up like the cheap piece of crap wal-mart ones I have (You get what you pay for right ?!?!?!) Plus my stupid wrists are hurting me all the time now (It was once in a while) and when they don't hurt they feel weird and funny and GGRRRR to the point I either A: have to rotate them like crazy or B: just not move them but considering I am a mom and I am a hands on person option B SUCKS!! So I will be going to the doctor on Monday and ask him "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MY WRISTS????" and go from there. My mom thinks I might be getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome like she has and if it is I might be looking at surgery : ( but she says it isn't as bad as it sounds. But for me this means NO more playing any kind of sports because well IDK why...rofl probably wont be possible after something like that right?!? Anyway's yeah so yeah that's how I been lately. That and trying to do things with the kids or be outdoors and all. Ok I done my wrists are hurting to I need to stop writing.

Dandelion Wine

Well today for the brief moment of time in my mom's back yard sitting in her Gazebo and listening to the wind dance and play with the few wind chimes in her yard out of the blue my Mom says something about Dandelion Wine. At first I really though she was pulling my chain but she was talking about it and how it tastes a little nasty but it gets the job done and I was like no way. So I texted my email with simply "Dandelion Wine" and now that I am home and looking it up it is for real....rofl man that is just too funny. Here is a website you can go to that tells a little about it and has a few recipes... If you try it let me know how it is :D

Being able to cross another thing off my list : )

Well yesterday My Mom, two boys and I picked some green tomatoes off her tomato plants yesterday and she friend them up for us to eat. This was both my boys and my self's first time ever eating Friend Green Tomatoes. Of course my finicky oldest son refused to even try them but my youngest one tried it and came back for more :D. I tried my first one not knowing what to expect and I actually enjoyed it!! I had a few slices with a tad bit of salt but like I said I loved the way it tasted. Then again I pretty much love everything my mother cooks b/c she is an amazing cook, amazing gardener and I feel out of everyone in my life she is the one person I can talk to about EVERYTHING. so yeah back to the tomatoes :D ... that is one thing I can now cross off my list of things to see, do and try now woot!! Yes I started a list of things I want to see, do and try in my life time and : P to those who laugh at me he he I am just excited to be able to see my list go down as I cross these things off :D I know next April my Husband and I are planning on going to Boston MA for a weekend to do two things. One to go to Anime Boston even if just one out of the three days and two so I can explore Boston (Yes I LOVE to explore the places I visit and it puts me in a bad mood when I am told I can't for ex: when I visited Charlotte NC a couple years ago I wasn't given the opportunity to explore the place : (...) But being that this time it is just My husband and me and a few good friends we might be seeing there (Well my WOW buddies : ) I am sure I will get some great photos, be able to explore some part of Boston and be happy about the whole trip. Ok ok I totally got off base of the tomatos...rofl

Well that is it. I did take some photos of it with my camera phone so that are not the best pictures. But I will probably still try to make some scrapbook pages : D

In my Mom's Garden

(Above) Flowers in the shape of a heart

(Above) Splash of color and water

(Above) Baby Robins

(above) A spider that although scares the hell out of me I can't help of take photos of it.

(Above) A close up of a daisy I believe it is

I went to my mom's with my camera, granted I am still learning about the whole photography thing, (I want to go to school for it as soon as my youngest starts school the 2010-2011 school year) and took tons of photos of spiders, birds, flowers, and what not around the yard. I will add some of the photo's which will most likely post right about this instead of under like I rather it did. (I have yet to figure all this mess out and what not. I don't know nearly as much as my Geeky yet Handsome Husband does : P ) So I had a really great time taking the photos I did take and I hope I made them small enough to look ok on here and not blow up the whole page.

I leave you with a quote I saw and really enjoyed

Yesterday & Today : D

Well I took my boys to the movies yesterday and they liked the movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. It had a few good and funny parts in it. The boys thought it was really funny. So I think we all had a good time yesterday :D

I am taking the boys to the beach today though. I will try and take photos of it from my phone. I'll post a picture or two here of the boys at the movies yesterday. Well off to do some chores and get ready for the beach ^ ^

Dandelions

So I was reading through the different things that when you first log onto your email account you see all these different stories and this sorta caught my eye :D

Improve Liver Functioning:

Dandelions may be blemishes on a perfectly manicured lawn, but they're making a comeback as an exotic super food in your salad, says Dr. Mao. "The dandelion is filled with nutrients and helps the liver function more efficiently, which means less toxins need to be eliminated through the skin," says Dr. Mao. All parts of the dandelion are edible. The leaves can be thrown uncooked into a salad or after five minutes of boiling, according to a Brandeis University edible plants field guide. You can also boil the roots for 20 to 30 minutes or roast and grind them into coffee. A word to the wise: Don't pick dandelions off your lawn to prevent consuming pesticides. Instead, plant them in a chemical-free garden or purchase from the grocery store.

This is weird but awesome... well I at least think so any way's ^ ^ but yeah wanted to share this and all. Comment what you think about this :D

June 26, 2009

Man I had a super bad dream last night. So much so when I woke this morning I was in tears and this dream has made me realize that instead of being a retard and worry about things I can't control I really should enjoy the things and people I have here in my life. Like if I ever lose my Husband Joey I know I will be broken. I I don't mean just crushed and hurt but completely and utterly broken!! Same if I ever lost any of my kids. They are my world and I love the three of them to pieces.

Also I need to start living more. There are so many places I want to see, so many things I want to do in my lifetime and I am the only person who will ever get me there well along with my Joey : ) but still ^ ^ Well I should be jumping off here I have things to do and maybe places to go lol
