Milk thistle

I was yet again having another conversation with my mom but this time over Milk thistle and what it looked like. I thought it was just like a brown colored stem or something but the thing is it has a beautiful flower on it and it's green....rofl so I learned yet another type of plant...lol Check it out here at Wikipedia.org

Sorry just when I have these kinds of conversations I find them either A: really funny B: really interesting or C: The "There is no way that is real" option. But I do enjoy the conversations with her and they make me think about things I wouldn't have if it was someone else or I was home alone or with the boys.

On another note Our watermelons are growing. They look great and hopefully soon there will be some melons to eat!! I am excited he he. We are still going to try and do the pumpkin seeds too I think but it has to be really soon. Well got to go later all.....

Kids

Well last night my kids were jumping around like monkeys as usual, but this time Anakin fell and busted his lip on the side of the futon. So there was blood everywhere of course and his top teeth had gone into his bottom lip. I felt so bad for him because his bottom lip had turned a different shade of color and swelled up. I have never in my life seen a lip that big before. So I gave him Motrin and of course put some ice on the lip to get the swelling down. Needless to say the moment the Motrin kicked in and his lip almost to normal (Besides the cut and bruise on it now) he was jumping around again like a monkey and needless to say could careless about the lesson he should of learned from this. On another Note Anakin does have a good arm and I hope to play catch with him after his birthday (I bought him a ball and glove, had to be the fisher price brand because they don't make anything his size yet) and then as soon as Daddy gets back he can take over. Kevin has said something about playing baseball but he always runs from the ball. I told him maybe we can see about finding an art camp or something because he is an amazing little artist!! Here soon when I have time I want to start getting a bunch of different sized picture frames and what not and Have him start creating art for our home!! I'll have to make sure Anakin is staying the night at his grandma's (Hubby Mom) or something or when Hubby is home and do the art work at there other grandma's (My Mom) either way I am excited about doing that for him. I want wooden frames though of all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors for it. Later on when Anakin is bigger he can create some too. I saw this one article where someone did that and what they did was Took the frames and took all the stuff out except the frame then hung the frame to the wall with a string or ribbon and then when the child bring new artwork home placed it behind a frame. I know I plan to do this when we have a bigger place or house around the entrance way of our home for EVERYONE to see : D

Wow well that's all for now. I'll write more another time my wrists are hurting. Later all.

Breakfast for Lunch : D

Well I am cooking the boys some Bacon, eggs and biscuits because that is what they asked me to make them for lunch...lol figure where is the harm in that :D So right now I am cooking the back in between sentences and getting popped by it in the process (Ouch)

~anyway's~

I took the boys to see the movie G-force in 3D yesterday and we loved it!! I even paid for the little kids pack things they serve there (Yes I paid the over priced prices blah) and the movie was great and the boys loved it!! Half way through Anakin hated the glasses and took them off the rest of the movie but he was still laughing and making comments like everyone else : ) This was the first 3D movie for all three of us and I really enjoyed it!! We saw a preview for another Disney movie coming soon in 3D that we all agreed we wanted to see and they did a remake of the Scrooge we want to see in 3D this winter (With hubby of course) I wished the weather would make up it's mind rather it will rain or not b/c the boys want to go to the beach again. Maybe if it seems ok tomorrow I'll take them to our apartments pool or something. Crap i am burning the bacon got to go..

My wrists hurt and feel weird

Taking a break from cleaning my home for the moment. Made lunch for the boys and me. I also ordered some more books (Used of course from amazon.com, I love that web site :D ) So now I am looking at all my wonderful books and and the kids books and come to the realization I need bigger and better book shelves. So when I can afford it I guess I will be going out and buying myself one or two (If I can afford it) I rather have real wood so I know they wont get tore up like the cheap piece of crap wal-mart ones I have (You get what you pay for right ?!?!?!) Plus my stupid wrists are hurting me all the time now (It was once in a while) and when they don't hurt they feel weird and funny and GGRRRR to the point I either A: have to rotate them like crazy or B: just not move them but considering I am a mom and I am a hands on person option B SUCKS!! So I will be going to the doctor on Monday and ask him "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MY WRISTS????" and go from there. My mom thinks I might be getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome like she has and if it is I might be looking at surgery : ( but she says it isn't as bad as it sounds. But for me this means NO more playing any kind of sports because well IDK why...rofl probably wont be possible after something like that right?!? Anyway's yeah so yeah that's how I been lately. That and trying to do things with the kids or be outdoors and all. Ok I done my wrists are hurting to I need to stop writing.

Dandelion Wine

Well today for the brief moment of time in my mom's back yard sitting in her Gazebo and listening to the wind dance and play with the few wind chimes in her yard out of the blue my Mom says something about Dandelion Wine. At first I really though she was pulling my chain but she was talking about it and how it tastes a little nasty but it gets the job done and I was like no way. So I texted my email with simply "Dandelion Wine" and now that I am home and looking it up it is for real....rofl man that is just too funny. Here is a website you can go to that tells a little about it and has a few recipes... If you try it let me know how it is :D

Being able to cross another thing off my list : )

Well yesterday My Mom, two boys and I picked some green tomatoes off her tomato plants yesterday and she friend them up for us to eat. This was both my boys and my self's first time ever eating Friend Green Tomatoes. Of course my finicky oldest son refused to even try them but my youngest one tried it and came back for more :D. I tried my first one not knowing what to expect and I actually enjoyed it!! I had a few slices with a tad bit of salt but like I said I loved the way it tasted. Then again I pretty much love everything my mother cooks b/c she is an amazing cook, amazing gardener and I feel out of everyone in my life she is the one person I can talk to about EVERYTHING. so yeah back to the tomatoes :D ... that is one thing I can now cross off my list of things to see, do and try now woot!! Yes I started a list of things I want to see, do and try in my life time and : P to those who laugh at me he he I am just excited to be able to see my list go down as I cross these things off :D I know next April my Husband and I are planning on going to Boston MA for a weekend to do two things. One to go to Anime Boston even if just one out of the three days and two so I can explore Boston (Yes I LOVE to explore the places I visit and it puts me in a bad mood when I am told I can't for ex: when I visited Charlotte NC a couple years ago I wasn't given the opportunity to explore the place : (...) But being that this time it is just My husband and me and a few good friends we might be seeing there (Well my WOW buddies : ) I am sure I will get some great photos, be able to explore some part of Boston and be happy about the whole trip. Ok ok I totally got off base of the tomatos...rofl

Well that is it. I did take some photos of it with my camera phone so that are not the best pictures. But I will probably still try to make some scrapbook pages : D

In my Mom's Garden

(Above) Flowers in the shape of a heart

(Above) Splash of color and water

(Above) Baby Robins

(above) A spider that although scares the hell out of me I can't help of take photos of it.

(Above) A close up of a daisy I believe it is

I went to my mom's with my camera, granted I am still learning about the whole photography thing, (I want to go to school for it as soon as my youngest starts school the 2010-2011 school year) and took tons of photos of spiders, birds, flowers, and what not around the yard. I will add some of the photo's which will most likely post right about this instead of under like I rather it did. (I have yet to figure all this mess out and what not. I don't know nearly as much as my Geeky yet Handsome Husband does : P ) So I had a really great time taking the photos I did take and I hope I made them small enough to look ok on here and not blow up the whole page.

I leave you with a quote I saw and really enjoyed
