Mosaic Table

Today My mom and I made a Mosaic table top with the plastic store lawn table I had bc it was ugly before and it needed to be pretty. I think we did pretty good considering it was my first one ever and My mom had been out of practice for a while so she was a little rusty. I think it came out pretty cool!! It is currently on my back (screened in) porch right now finishing drying out. It will go out front of the house (I hope the kids leave it alone) and will have some kind of plant life on top of it. Anyway's that is all I wanted to post at the moment : D

Oh wait we put up a few Christmas decorations up today (Hubby and I). We got the tree up with some of the ornaments, our mini tree, our snow person, some of the other snowmen (I collect snowman items for Christmas : ) and sometime this weekend while we are kid free we will be putting up some of the Christmas lights as well : D I am pretty excited I love decorating for Halloween and Christmas!! Ok now I said all I wanted to say lol

Preparing for Thanksgiving!!

Well I am currently working on making Cannoli's Pumpkin pie and the Deviled Eggs are already done. I want to try and make as much of the food I can make today so tomorrow wont be as crazy although I am not going crazy this year food wise. Maybe somewhere in between. We are having Turkey of course, Green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, Mashed potatoes and brown gravey, deviled eggs, Pumpkin Pie and Cannoli's for our little feast. I know it don't sound like much but for a family of four that's plenty : D Right at this moment I have the cheese for the Cannoli's draining, the dough for the shells in the fridge for about another hour and the Pumpkin Pie is in the Oven woot!! It all smells pretty yummy. I even used my Mom's own recipe for making deviled eggs and tweaked it a little and they taste awesome!! Well aside from that i am so tired. I have a hard time sleeping at night the littlest noises can wake me up and they it takes what seems like forever for me to fall back to sleep most times. So I took a sleeping pill last night and woke up early this morning bc the Dog woke me lol and I think i got up before the medicine wore off so I have been groggy all day so far. So let me get off for now though getting more tired just sitting here typing lol later all and hope everyone has a awesome Turkey Day!!

Road Trips

Well I have been thinking a lot about Road trips. Thinking about Road trips with good friends, about Road trips with just my best friend, Road Trips with my kids, and road trips with my family. I’ve always wanted to go on Road trips, they always seem so fun and exciting and it seems like I might be going on them more and more as my kids get older because it wont seem as much of a chore trying to keep after them and make sure they are safe and more time on enjoying it and taking photos and what not. Sure I guess I should mention this was all brought on to the fact earlier this month I was suppose to take a one day Road Trip to PA with My Mom and Best friend Halls, but it got cancelled because a nasty Vet Bill, and low on funds. I am glad it didn’t Happen because the night we would have been driving back home in Halls car we might have been in an accident. Halls front driver side tire fell off when she was driving home from work and can you imagine if we been on the Highway going like 60-65 and the tire fell off!! So yeah I guess we are meant to go visit our peeps in PA another time and it will come one of these days!! But back to me babbling about RT (RT will = Road Trip kk)

I know there are a number of places just in VA alone I’d love to go visit or visit again!! So I am going to write down a list and with what group of people it be fun to go with :D

Man just writing this all out the ideas running through my head making me excited about it all (And it’s all just ideas…lol) But I am sure I will go on RT in the future. I did forget to tell you about the one day RT Halls and I (with our kids) took around July this summer. We were bored as hell staying in our same old boring home town so we picked some places we wanted to visit and just choose one. We planned for about a week tops (I think it might have been more like a few days to round up money and whatever, I think this idea would be better if I just took some money out whenever I could place it in a jar or something and when I get a wild hair up my butt use the money to go on a random 1 day RT : ) We ended up heading to Luray VA one because I wanted to do a human Maze and when I explained to halls that I meant we physically run around in a maze trying to get from one end to the other she got excited and wanted to go do it!! So Halls, the kids drove to Luray VA and went to the Garden Maze (http://thegardenmaze.com/) and visit the Luray Zoo (http://www.lurayzoo.com/) there then drove back home. It was pretty great just doing it. I did get a little aggravated with the kids being butts towards each other but other then that I loved it!! Man I am hopeless I am writing all over the place but whatever that’s how I write I guess putting down what I am thinking. So yeah it was awesome I will post the pictures on my Flickr Account now that I am thinking about it he he but yeah the whole point of me writing all this babble is because I was wondering what are some really awesome Road trip songs?? I thought of “Let Go” by Frou frou, “Crash” by Dave Matthews band, “Pinch Me” Barenaked ladies, "All right now" by Free, "Life is a Highway" by Tom Cochrane….any other ideas????

NFL Jersey App

There is this kinda neat App on Facebook where you make a NFL jersey with whatever name be it your real name or nickname. I made one with the NFL team I follow most (My Favorite one, I support Washington Redskins too b/c that is the team my Husband Favors) the Miami Dolphins and picked a number. I just thought it was neat and passing it along : P The app is called "Make your NFL Jersey"

30 day shred

Well I did that Jillian Michael's 30 day shred today and I could feel it in alot of different muscle groups so that is awesome!! I like this dvd for sure : )

On another note I took Pictures of my Dog yesterday (My Vader Man!! Everyone says he is my puppy bc he stays by my side more then anyone elses so : P ) and it was so cute! The little booger is fast so had to get pics of him chewing a hide lol I added some more of him on my Flickr account. Well got to go do some laundry ><

Losing Weight

Well I am pretty excited I have been losing weight and what not but the past few weeks things have been hitting me left and right so I haven't really been losing weight but haven't been putting it on either. Both my kids been getting sick with Strep Throat and other nasty bugs and been feeling so out of it and so blah that I am like "F*#@" everything although i shouldn't. Just been feeling like I am being taken for granted and it sucks. But anyway's My BFF Halls put in new hours for work just so she can go to the Gym with me in the mornings or ride bikes, walk, swim whatever. I'll just be glad to have someone to workout with again, makes it more fun!! I been looking at clothes online as well and been thinking about how much fun it will be to feel comfortable showing off my body again and wearing cute little outfits and what not. I hope to be at least comfortable enough to wear a cute bathing suit by summer time anyways. Well need to get to bed....
